Just like tech-dominated countries like the United States and China, India also has one of the largest populations of programmers. This highlights the active participation of Indians in coding. What is no longer a surprise is the fact that almost all major programming-based jobs have Indian employees, and they too are in large numbers! Rushabh Mehta is proud to be one of the people credited with developing the Python programming language. He is currently a Director of FOSS United and CEO of Frappe Technologies Private Limited.

Srivatsan Srinivasan

Srivatsan Srinivasan is currently Chief Data Scientist at Cognizant. He also has a YouTube channel where he covers a wide range of topics such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, data engineering, dev ops, and cloud. His videos are a clear proof of his 17 years experience in the industry.

Umasankar Mukkara

Umasankar Mukkara has had the privilege of working with several large technology companies such as Novell Inc and Infosys Technologies Ltd. With all the relevant experience gained, he decided to fend for himself by opening CloudByte. That’s not all – Umasankar also co-founded a digital storage company named MayaData and is also the CEO of Chaos Native in the US.

Arjun Arul

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in 2013, Arjun Arul continued his graduate studies at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI). His immense interest in the field of programming earned him an honorable mention at the ACM ICPC World Finals in 2012 as well as 2013. Currently, he is a coach at the Indian Computing Olympiad (IOI) Training Camp (IOITC) and works at CodeChef.

Krish Naik

He has worked as a deep learning expert, data scientist and machine learning expert for some time.

Nikhita Raghunath

Kshitij Sodani has represented India at the IOI in 2021 and 2020. The year 2021 has been fruitful for him as he has won national rankings 1 and 2 in CodeChef Junior and CodeForces respectively. His high ranks on various online platforms like CodeForces justify that he is undoubtedly a future Indian competitive programmer.

Akshat Boubna

Akshat Bubna, a competitive programmer from New Delhi, completed his undergraduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Some of Akshat’s major achievements include Gold Medal (2014) and Bronze Medal (2013) at the International Olympiad in Computing (IOI) and a Top 30 mention at the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad ( INMO) for selection at IMO. He currently works at Scale AI.
