Masai School, an outcome-oriented training institute, has announced India’s first Internship Guarantee Scheme. The six-month program is for specializations in front-end web development, back-end web development, and data analytics. The edtech platform guarantees an internship in top Indian tech companies with a stipend of up to Rs 60,000, otherwise offering a 110% refund.

This program will be rolled out by Masai through Prepleaf, which the company recently acquired, and will begin on May 16. Candidates will be trained in python, SQL, data structures and algorithms, building technical skills, hands-on experience in Capstone projects as well as preparing for interviews with industry experts.

This outcome-based course comes with one-on-one mentorship from industry experts who have experience working at companies like Google, Amazon, Uber, and Microsoft. It is structured to provide hands-on project experience, tool-based learning through live classes, and interview preparation that will help candidates secure internships that can be converted into full-time job openings.

Speaking about the launch of the new program at Masai’s first technology conference, TechTonic Shift ’22, Masai Co-Founder and CEO Prateek Shukla said, “Degrees are not enough to succeed in technology, more and more companies consider portfolios and projects when hiring. Internships are important for this and building technical skills is key to landing a good internship. The next important step is to access sought-after opportunities in interesting and ambitious engineering and data teams. These are the two needs that the Technical Internship Guarantee Program seeks to address. If you don’t get an internship, we’ll refund 110% of your money. This is our guarantee.“”

The TechTonic Shift 2022 was organized in collaboration with the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC). Vineeta Singh (CEO, SUGAR Cosmetics, Investor, Shark Tank), Amrish Rau (CEO, PineLabs), Abhishek Goyal (Founder, Tracxn) were among those present. The objective of the event was to provide access to students and graduates of Tier II, III and IV colleges who do not have the opportunity to learn from India’s best minds in business and technology.
