All-Ireland Business Foundation chief executive Kapil Khanna said the accreditation, which is now held by more than 500 companies, is necessary for the thousands of small and medium-sized businesses that operate to their own standards but don’t have nothing to measure them.

He said:

“We assess a company’s track record, reliability and performance, and we talk to customers, employees and suppliers. We also approach the company anonymously as a customer and report on the experience. The company goes through at least two interviews and is scored at each stage of the process against defined parameters. »

The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) is a self-governing national accreditation body responsible for business development and the promotion of Ireland’s best businesses.

The Foundation actively engages and supports its network through peer-to-peer dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and business development activities. Businesses qualify for accreditation by completing a business audit and are identified by their use of the AIBF’s Business All-Star mark.
