Cox Media Group Tampa promoted two of its content leaders.
John Brennan, director of branding and programming for conference “102.5 The Bone” WHPT and classic rock “107.3 The Eagle” WXGL, transitions to director of operations, overseeing content strategy for all six CMG Tampa stations, including adult contemporary “Magic 94.9” WWRM, soft AC WDUV, CHR “Hot 101.5” WPOI and modern/alternative “97X” (WWRM-HD2, WPOI-HD2 and Translator W248CA).
Additionally, Jenna Kesneck, director of branding and programming for 97X and modern/alternative rock “X106.5” WXXJ Jacksonville, adds programming oversight for WDUV.
Brennan joined CMG in 2004 and became Head of Content for WHPT in 2014, adding WXGL in 2019. Kesneck started her career at CMG in 2011 as an Account Manager, later becoming Assistant Program Director and then Head of Content 97X in 2019.
